Well it's march 14 so it's Pi Day at work again.
We charge $3 for a slice of pie and coffee, money to The United Way charity.
This year we had apple pie and pecan pie.

I am making two apple pies to celebrate today. I figure that any reason for pie is a good reason.
I am trying to find the best way to celebrate November 11th of each year. That day is, of course, National Corduroy Day.
Appropriately, also Albert Einstein's birthday (as well as my wife's).
Rod,
Why not $3.14 for the pie? Is the price Canadian or US dollars?

Pi (Tau) Day ought to be on June 28.
National Corduroy Day is a joke right?
IMO both Veterans Day and Memorial Day are the most important days of every year second only to Christmas. If not for the Military service and sacrifice of those who have served our Country there wouldn't be any holidays to celebrate.

“If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals.”
Good tradition Rod.
The pies look great.

A place near us with a crazy name "Jen's Ugly Pies" posted this masterpiece today on FB:
NOW you tell me...
I apologize if my comment offended anyone. Yes, November 11th is now Veteran's Day, originally Armistice's Day, I believe.
For the record, I spent 12 years in the Navy so am one of those that served.
11/11 is the only day that could be Corduroy Day due to the four ones.
A pizza chain (Piology) near us had individual pizzas for $3.14. We stood in line an hour and all five of us got one.
Buuurp. I can't believe I ate the whole thing.
