    Hence the Tau Manifesto!!!! LOL! I know nobody is really interested in this but the basic premise is that 2*pi shows up more in mathematics than pi by itself does. So Tau = 2*Pi. They argue Pi should have been 6.28xxxxxxxxx from the get go....

    Chris, that makes perfect sense for the 5% of us that use mathematics in our jobs.

    The other 95% of the population probably relate to Pi better.

    A few years ago for Halloween I made a Jack O Lantern with the Pi symbol on it. Out of approximately 200 children that crossed my door step, only a few exclaimed "Oh, that's Pumpkin Pi".

    Subtle jokes like that seem lost on people. Most people don't get the gag of our two dog's names: Bella and Bartok.

    My dog Pi has a day just for him. He is a 55 lb deaf lap dog and varmit killer.
