    Best cutter for surfacing big table

    I have customer that has 48" by 14' by 7 inch thick slab that might wanting me to flatten on the cnc, he is making conference table out of.. Wondering what best bit to use. I have 1.5" bit that use to surface spoil board but think would need better quality bit and bigger dismeter. My tab is 4 by 8 and have 4 hp spindal.

    4hp isnt a lot for a 3" cutter with any depth of cut. May want to be careful with regards to species and hoe much you have to take off. Smaller diameter may be better if you have to hog off any amount of material.

    Brad - I also use the same bit. Quick question - Did you write a program for the surfacing - what surfacing instructions do you guys use?
