Painting Raised Panel Doors Question?

Do you guys finish/paint the outside edge of the panel before assembling the door/drawer? Just thinking of possible wood movement and seeing a unfinished line around the panel.

I have at times, it is a good idea. I always at least stain the edges of wide interior paneling to make sure a light line does not show after some shrinkage. With paint you really need to adjust the raise cut a little to handle the paint thickness.
