Is there some Thread on a dressing tool for a #2MT ?

What are you looking for a dressing tool to do Joe? For example, I use a shotgun cleaning brush to clean my MT2.

What you need is a Morse taper reamer. The reamers used to come cutting and finishing grades. The finishing grade would be fine to touch up and remove any burrs, etc in the taper.

    Here's a link to one:

You should be able to find an inexpensive import a little less expensive. You could also find a local machine shop who has the reamer and let them do the job, it only takes a minute..

Make your own, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t1OdkxYO2I I found this after a google search. I think it cost me about $5.00 on Amazon, 20 gauge shot gun cleaner/brush.

Grizzly is $41. I bought one, made in India. Works fine for clean up. Probably won't touch a hardened spindle.

I had a small gall in my spindle taper and a #2 Mt reamer took care of it just fine. Make sure it is well centered or you can make things worse.
