SO advancing the design, the case will be full of increasing;y larger drawers from top to bottom. On the outside of the case will be, on both sides, a door that swings outward for hanging necklaces made from mesquite, approximately 2" wide. The drawer fronts will be made from birds eye maple. My questions are what should the box of the drawers be made of? I am thinking 1/2" poplar. The BEM will overlap the drawer boxes and the base case? What should the case be made of since it will never be seen on the inside and will most likely be covered by suede or leather on the outside, thus the wood will almost never be seen unless a drawer is taken out? Drawer slides, I w as thinking full extension but that takes up a lot of space? Drawer box wood thickness, thinking 1/2" and dovetailed vs 3/4"

I am sure I will have more questions and hope to have a Sketchup drawing in a few weeks.

Thanks in advance all.
