Using a router lift in a horizontal position

    Specifically an Incra RL.
I'm in the earliest phase of exploring this. Would you trust it to support a PC 75182 sideways?

I don't know the Incra but my router lift is positioned by a screw device. I'd trust it to hold in position horizontally as well as the regular position.

Agreed. There are definitely lighter weight lifts out there but, things like the PRL are stout enough to hold at any angle. I assume the magnetic throat plates are reliable enough for non-horizontal positioning. Certainly screw-in types like the Woodpecker version of the PRL would be.
