    replacement carbide cutter

I need to get a replacement 8mm (5/16") cup shaped cutter for my JT Transformer hollowing tool, but I can't get hold of them today. Does anyone know if these are the same as used in the Hunter Osprey (Hunter #2 cutter)? They appear very similar- mine is 1/8" thick with a .130" i.d. countersunk for a T9 torx fastener.

  2. The Hunter #2 cutter is 5/16".....the #3 is 3/8" . They look to be the same as the cutters on JT hollowing tools from the pics. Only difference possibly might be the torx screw threads, but if you use the current screws you have the Hunter cutters should work fine.

    David,

Thanks for the link. I ordered two cutters from azcarbide.com with shipping for what one would have cost me at Packard.
