    Wolverine jig question

I recently bought the Wolverine jig system to mount on a Rikon low speed bench grinder. From the instructions, it looks like I need to raise the jig's mounting brackets about 1" to hit the desired spacing to center of the grinding wheel. From a quick try at assembly it looks like this will also require that I remove the dust ports from the wheel guards - this isn't a big deal, but thought I'd check if anyone has experience with this setup to suggest a different approach?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I had to as well. Two screws per port. I raised mine 3/4". Not a problem. I now have CBN wheels and removed the guards also.
