Need help identifying wood species/stain?/finish used on cabinets

Hi all, can anyone identify the wood and finish (and maybe stain?) used on these cabinets? Cabinet1 was lit with incandescent bulbs, Cabinet2 and Cabinet3 was lit with with daylight LED bulbs.

Whoever made the shelves originally cut them close to 1" too short, so they're putting undue stress on the pins, which makes me nervous when I think about stacking dishes up there. I plan to replace the shelves with properly sized pieces, and will of course add the false front to them.

    Thanks!

Can't tell if the interior is stained, but the material inside is maple. It might just be clear prefinished maple plywood.

Looks like maple ply to me too. maybe with a cherry stain? you will just have to bring a shelf with you to pick out a stain color.
