Nice work on the goblets. I love the transition to the main body. Is the wood in the segments running long grain like the solid parts?

As far as the one looking crooked in the photo, it is because the camera is too close to them and the wide angle distorts. Try moving back and zooming in a bit and it should look better. Also keeping horizon level will help, as there is an optical illusion when the table / wall line is at an angle.
