    laser engraving polyurethane resin

    Hi Everyone

    Has anyone had any experience laser engraving polyurethane - see attached picture
    Is it safe ?? any recommended settings ?

    not sure what your asking here? What are the pictures of? I seal wood with polyurethane and engrave it all the time.

    If I may add two cents. if it is poly urethane rubber, you may check out Russ Saddlers second video he ever made.. I believe this is one of the no no items to burn, since there are very hazardous gasses coming off of that...

    That being said, if you are willing to risk it and have a kickbutt air vent system, have at it...

    Oh, just to add to Bert's post, Polyurethane varnish is not as bad, since its not the same as polyurethane rubber, so be clear.... what was the question?
