This nice little table was brought back to refinish the top look how nice the cherry has darkened and the walnut has lightened.
I think it was oil finish.
Anyways i didnt really want give it back.
It always nice to see how wood ages over time.

There's a lot to like about that table, Andrew. Lots of details to appreciate. it's obvious why the recipient is fond of it.

That's a really nice table...design; proportion; choice of material. I've build a few things that combine cherry and black walnut and it's truly interesting as you point out how they start out with a lot of contrast, but over time it becomes more subtle as the cherry darkens and the walnut lightens.
