    WEN 8" slow speed grinder.

have always wanted to add a slow speed grinder to the shop.
Had my eye on the Masterforce brand sold by Menards, Reg $119 on sale for $99

Just noticed WEN has a very similar unit that can be had for as low as $87. (Camel camel camel Amazon price price history) $94 right now.
What has drawn me to the WEN is they have parts listed for sale on their web page, (For example, replacement circuit board)
Anyone have expedience with the WEN unit?

Their stuff is tempting. Ive been eyeballing one of their ceiling mounted air filters. Dont know enough about them. I think my Dad had a WEN soldering gun.

You'll like having a slow speed grinder!

The surface speed of the wheel on an 8" slow speed grinder isn't that much slower than a 6" hight speed grinder. If you want slow speed, get a 6" slow or variable speed model.

The WEN appears identical to my Craftsman "Professional" (21162) 8" Variable Speed Bench Grinder, which has been a workhorse.....C'man 8" Bench Grinder.jpeg

Ended up ordering the WEN grinder tonight. Walmart had it listed for store pickup only price of $76.68. Amazon has it listed also for just a few $$$$ more.
Will check back in when I receive it.
