    Seg # 10

5 3/4" wide x 6 3/8" tall segmented bottle made of Blood wood and Hard Maple. General Finishes turners finish. A water base poly. Buffed. I call it "an imperfect 10".

  2. Nicely done, Allan! Love the contrast in colors, and the rim adds symmetry/balance.

Comments are appreciated. It took input from others and careful attention to design and good luck to get it right.

Don, it is glued in four major sections. Inside trued up with bowl gouge, each section and the outside turned to rough shape. Then when all is glued up, finish turning the outside.

I don't do segments and usually would not comment, but it is a simple bold design that catches my eye. I noticed that the number of segments are different in the layers, but overall if very appealing. The WTF looks good.
