How where these joints made before power tools. maybe grind a custom plane iron for a combination? plane.
I meant farm out the grinding not the woodworking.

A lot of discussion here. Certainly Whiteside, Carbide Processors and others offer custom profile services. That would be my first and probably last choice. Get it made and move on with my project. If you are of a mind to make your own, I am not qualified to help with that discussion.
