Updates on the LightObject "auto tracking" controller?

about 2 years ago that showed a controller that automagically followed the height of a given work piece, but I haven't found any info on it other than that video. Is this actually available anywhere yet?

There is a non metal autofocus available from Sinjoe.....it's expensive though and only works for cutting
