    Beads of Courage box

Turned this BOC box out of cypress then used the rotary attachment on my CNC to do some engraving on it.
Since I am a fan of the Super hero movies and since this will be going to a child that is undergoing some type
of chemo treatment, I decided to use a Super hero theme. The engravings were done with a v bit and then I filled
in the engravings with coffee grounds and sealed with CA glue. I hope it brighten up some child's life as they are
going through a rough period in their life.

Is your Superman "S" reversed by design?

WOW, Gary, I just now noticed that. I guess when I imported the image it was reversed and never noticed it.

Seem like we discussed this once before and you gave me a fix for it. I thought I did the fix, but I may not have done it.

If your preview is correct, then the recoil direction is incorrect.

    Steps to correct:
    Open WinCNC.INI
    Find lines for "A Axis"
Axisspec= line will have an "o" parameter
If it is 0, change to 1. If 1, change to 0

Turned another BOC box and engraved it. This time the "S" in the Superman logo is facing the right direction.

Excellent! I've made some and have started on some more. The kids are WORTH the effort.

Hey, put the reversed and normal Superman logos on opposite sides and the child can see it when she looks at herself holding the box before a mirror!

Nice work, Bobby. Don't worry too much about the backwards S. I work in the commercial printing trade. It's amazing how often a typo as obvious as yours goes unnoticed until the printed sheets are comping off the press!
