    Hand tool cabinet!

Starting to make some progress on my hand tool cabinet. Chisels on the left and marking tools and saws will be on the right. Any tips?

So, saws on the inside of the right hand door? While I would like to say it looks outstanding from here, you better send it to me for an extended evaluation so that I can advise you properly.

Looks real good. I like tool cabinets that have a bit of eccentricity ...those red handles provide it.

    Dito on the good looking.

Are the handles red? To my eyes they look like purple heart.

David has it all wrong. For a truly proper evaluation you need to send that thing to me. Looking good Samuel.

Very nice indeed, and it seems to be filled with some very nice tools.

Beautifully done. What are the dimensions of the cabinet? I'm on the fence about building one myself.

Thank you! I don't have the exact dimensions but it's is about 3x4. I was limited due my personal stipulation of re purposing a book shelf that my grandfather built 60 years ago. One day I'll make one with nicer materials and fancy joinery (Ill need to learn how to do fancy joinery...) but for now this will work and will help limit the surface rust my tools with get.

Ahhh yes- I remember that one. I am very happy for you... and by "happy for you" I mean I hate you. (Joking of course- nice score). I love the tool cabinet- very well organized and love the contrasting woods.

Nice piece. Careful when pulling those chisels out, those sharp edges from the blades above'll getcha...I've nicked a finger or three.
