Thread: Magnolia Hollow form

    Magnolia Hollow form

A little hollow form of some spalted magnolia. Once again the best spalting is on the bottom (not what I expected). It is about 7 inches in diameter, lacquer finish. Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice form Dennis and just a knockout over the top piece of timber.

That's about as pretty as it gets. Nothing not to like about this one. Love the wood, and the form is great! Nice job!!!!

Very beautiful Dennis, I am starting to do hollow form and just wondering do you use a special hollow form tool?

The spalting flows so beautifully across the rounded shape. Just gorgeous.
