This was a very challenging project for me because of the geometrical aspects. Getting the alignment just right was very tedious!

I love the detail and design, Robert! Is that your design? I need build a violin stand and plan to use Walnut and Curly Maple and my initial sketches are light and airy like your cello stand. What woods and finish did you use? One photo looks like stained Curly Maple and I see some burl veneer on the base.
