    I see a lot of this in our Pennsylvania "farm" lumber. Seems that rural America enjoys shooting trees.

    I was going to reply that I have a small paddle that my dad made with 1/2 a bullet in it. He made it out of some maple that he was using when he worked in a chair factory. I also have a walking stick/monopod with a bullet in it.
    Then last night I was milling up some ash for a counter top when this showed up.

    Lead shotgun pellets are not very detectable with a metal detector. Of course, if there is a large cluster of pellets that will be easier to find.
