Woodnet projects spam emails

Has anyone here had any success unsubscribing from the spam emails coming from Woodnet Projects? I have no recollection of subscribing to this crap, and I have tried to unsubscribe with no success. The crap that I received today said that if I was having problems unsubscribing, click a link. I clicked the link and NOTHING on the page that came up provided for unsubscribing. It did, however, provide for subscribing - typical of outfits such as this one.

I can have my email client continue to send this crap to my junk file, but I would REALLY like to stop it altogether.

Can anyone help, please?

I have them marked in my mail server's spam blacklist, so I no longer even see them. I'm not sure they really originate with woodnet, either, but have not examined the email headers.

Like Jim, I put them on my ignore list. They get sent to my trash file upon arrival.

Yes, I'm tired of getting their stuff as well, unsubscribing does not produce results.

They aren't from Woodnet. Woodnet upgraded their software and sent every user an email without using the BCC feature and someone else got a hold of the list.

Unsubscribing to them simply tells them that it is a valid email and they can sell it to others....
Also on some of these links, it can put malware or virus's on your computer..
If you get email from someone you did not request, simply put.... DO NOT reply or open it...
TRASH it immediately....

Legitimate companies will actually unsubscribe you from their bulk email. I'm talking places like Sears, Target, Groupon, and the like.

It is the spammers trying to sell you cheap Viagra and the like that you should never reply to. Google does such a good job with filtering that I almost never see spam of this type in my inbox anymore.

Thunderbird will let you tag emails as trash and future emails from that source are automatically dumped to trash and you don't see them. Some ISP's such as earthlink.net will also let you block spam so it never leaves the server to get sent to you.

My mail reader used to have a 'Bounce' option. It would send emails back making it look like it was from an invalid eddress. Many email servers detect these and remove the names from the list.

All one has to do is 'spoof' a bounced email and if all goes well, no more spam from at least one sender.

Lucky me, I get this one PLUS another similar one but I took care of it at the server level and they get permanently deleted and I never see them any longer.

Gmail automatically sends all of those to my spam folder without me doing anything. If it didn't, I would make a filter in Firefox to kill them. All browsers I know of have filters that will let you trash, mark as spam, or move specified incoming emails.

Perhaps there is a special place in the afterlife for those who send such things.

BTW, I NEVER click on an unsubscribe link from a sender unless I had specifically signed up for email notifications/newsletters from that sender. If I were a spammer, I'd code the unsubscribe link to verify your email address was valid and you just gave it personal attention.
