Am I stupid, or are there problems?

I have experienced a few weird glitches last few days, including today, of my posts showing.

Really don't think it's me, maybe mistake, but don't think so.

It extends to not just reply posts on threads, but also SENT IM's, that I have enabled to "save".

Don't show.

OK, really strange.

Now my sent IM's are showing, BUT I made a post or two at the very end of below thread, that does NOT show in the thread.

The post that is missing finishes w something like " If I may say, all done"

Totally confused here.

Just irritating cause I put thought and time into my responses.

The multiple post or disappearing posts issue is most often caused by Internet delays and/or dropped packets between you and the SMC server. While there "are" some things that the current forum code is having issues with, what you describe has happened occasionally over the years for the reasons I mention. SMC will soon be migrating to a different forum software and that should remedy a lot, if not all, of the issues that folks have been posting about plus add some new features and capabilities. But, network issues between community members and our servers are out of SMC's control.
