    India Ink Coverage

Any idea how many square feet I'd be likely to get out of 32oz? I'm considering using it on a TV stand that I'm building, but I have no idea if that bottle is enough or way too much or way too little.

It's so funny you posted this now, because I just last weekend started using that same product on the butcher block. First time I've used India Ink. It's coverage is excellent - deep black, no splotching, good absorbsion on the poplar I'm using. But I think I'll need 2 coats to make it completely even. I don't know how to estimate the square footage it will cover, but with luck someone here will.

As India Ink is essentially a dye and about as thin as any water based dye, I checked General Finishes WB dye for coverage/quart = 150 sq.ft. Obviously the wood, depth of color required, % of solids and opacity are going to change this but at least it gives you a starting point
