I am a novice box maker. A blade that cuts a 1/8 inch flat bottomed kerf would simplify joinery and inlays. Otherwise I will make do with router bits and router table. I have a 10 inch Rigid TS

Full-kerf flat-top-tooth rip blade.

Use the right tool for the job.
Yep. I needed to crosscut the same thing often enough I had a 50 tooth blade made. It has more than paid for itself. For things like miter keys an FTG rip will do ya fine. Just confirm that the kerf is the .125" width you want. "Full" kerf can be from .110" to .176" from one maker.

Wouldn't one blade out of a dado set do that?
I have three different maker's stacks. The outer blades are 1/8" but, not FTG. This may not be true for all makes.

Freud LM72, Infinity 010-024, Delta Industrial 35-611, Amana RB1020, Forrest 20T or Forrest specialty grind. Any standard 1/8" full kerf with a flat top grind (FTG). Any other grind won't be truly flat.

One of the FJ08241 or FJ08242 sets is the route I was thinking of going: LINK
But yea the WW10401125 would be a standard Woodworker II blade that is flat ground.

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success!
Sorry, forgot you were looking for that. Yea then from Forrest it would be the WW10401125.

I ordered a flat top 1/8" kerf blade from Carbide processors. Works great.
Any cheap blade will do, just take it to a sharpening service and have it ground to your specs.
I checked and my Woodworker II is flat ground.
WWII is usually ATB. Did you buy it with a #1 grind?
I don't need a flat top blade too often but I'd like to get a 10" with a flat top grind for less than the Woodworker #1 grind. I sent a note to Infinity tools to see if they have one.
Infinity offers an 8" with a 5/32" kerf but I want a 10" because I have a SawStop and I'd have to change the brake if I put in an 8" blade.
Somebody must make one for less than $150.
