Normally I am really good and sorting these types of things out. I was sent images of an existing plaque that they want us to match. We only have laser so I'm trying to figure out how to make it look as similar as possible.

I have worked for QuickTrophy LLC since 2006.

Matt, these are rotary engraving fonts.
Two small plates in first pic looks to be double line century font.
Bigger plate has mix of cursive 1 line font (top two lines) and double line century for rest.
These fonts may have small variations between different manufacturers like New Hermes, Newing Hall, Xenetech, Vision.
Trotec Speedy 300 - 60w, with Quatro CSA-626 fume extraction
Xenetech 1625 x2,
New Hermes TX pantograph, CG4 cutter grinder
Brady Globalmark2 label printer,
Assortment of custom tooling , shears & punches, heat bender.
Software: Xenetech XOT, Corel X3, Bartender label software
Thanks I'll take a look.

Tony is right on the money, double line century and cursive-
this here is a zip file with those 2 fonts in True Type form - Nhcursiv.zip
These are actual NH fonts, but note that they were never 'finalized' or released for use. This means there's a few anomolies, like kerning can be a bit funny, but that's easy enough to adjust in Corel, just eyeball it till it looks good
Another issue is, the text is very hard to see on screen, and almost invisible while typing. To make visible on screen after typing, you need to remove fill color and outline in black, then it shows up better. Doesn't help while typing though.
Being TrueType, these are double-lined fonts, necessary for TT fonts to work. The 2 lines are essentially on top of each other. What happens is each character will appear to engrave twice- takes a bit more time but works great with diamond etching which usually takes two passes anyway. And back to removing fill, if you export text you typed that's outlined AND filled, each letter will engrave twice- meaning FOUR passes..

Wow thanks I will see how well I can get them to work.

I rarely diamond drag black plates as it is pretty easy to convince the customers that the laser engraved piece will look better over the long haul as it doesn't oxidize like the diamond dragged piece.

Funny--- Mike caught me spelling Astin Martin wrong, I just noticed the second 'blockmaker' on the bigger plaque in the pic is missing the 'k'...
Gotta love copy/paste!
--and I just noticed Matt mentioned 'only a laser'-- that lettering will vector or raster nicely-- if raster, fill it black and no outline or no more than hairline. Raster faster, vector may look cleaner...

I caught that spelling error too! I was able match it up very nicely with the fonts Kev sent over. I sent the file down to our engraver so that they can test it out and figure out how much thicker we need to make the lines.

You will never be able to get an AstOn Martin.
Here's mine--as soon as I cash my lottery ticket. https://global.astonmartin.com/en-us/models/vanquish-s

Funny how you're the only one who keeps catching me!
Let me see, AUSTIN Powers John ASTIN, ASTON Martin... maybe I got it now
Wouldn't be so bad if I'd picked out a Pagani Huayra (which I DID have to copy/paste!) .... oddly enough, I'm actually a pretty good speller...
Anyway, glad the fonts helped!
