I'm tired of having to lay down plastic drop cloths & newspapers in my work shop or garage whenever I have to spray paint a project with a rattle can. Although I have an air filtration system it is small & still allows the air to be fouled for a while before it returns to normal. Also, there is still some residue that finds its way to the floor despite the drop cloth. I don't spray outside because of the pollen or insects that would attach to the paint.
So, I'm about to set up a large cardboard box (2'x3') outside on saw horses & spray small projects inside the box. As soon as I'm through painting I'll tape fiberglass window screen material to the box opening to allow the air to enter while preventing the pollen & insects from entering.
I'm wondering how many of you have done this and any suggestions you might have to improve upon this.
