At Costco today I picked up what looks like a 4' twin tube florescent light with a water proof cover. Cost $30. But it has led tubes and a motion sensor. plan to put it under the patio roof. I do not think they are dust proof to be used in a explosive evironment

I'm curious as to how these perform. Light output aside, i see a great deal of discussion on how finicky the motion sensor is on these. Maybe they're worth the effort to disable the sensor entirely?

The manual is a hard read but I think you can set them to just stay on as long as the power is on.
