Looking for Turners in the Boston/ Eastern Mass. Area

    Hi All,

I am new to the forum so I apologize if this is not posted in the correct area, but Sawmill Creek was recommended by my Turner uncle. I live in the Boston area, and recently moved into an older home. Some of the balusters are missing, and I am looking for a turner in the area that would be able to replicate several of these balusters for replacement. If there is anyone on the forum that does that sort of work, please contact me, or if the forum knows of turners in the Boston/Eastern Mass. area that do custom work like that I would love to get their names. Thanks so much.

There's a chapter that meets at Woodcraft in Woburn every month.

Google turns up several commercial companies in the Boston area that turn custom house parts for restoration of old houses.

you can also try the Furniture Institute of MA in Beverly. I've seen a few small projects like this in there in the past
