Has "Bailey" behind the tall knob. No. 4 in front, with a ring around the base of the knob...

Lever cap has a "U" stamp. Lateral lever has STANLEY. Someone had set the frog way back...

Took a lot of turns of the frog adjust bolt to adjust..

Has a LARGE brass wheel. Knurling lines are straight.
Chipbreaker was on the bevel side....maybe they thought this was a bevel up plane...
Lever cap has the "Kidney Bean" shaped hole, instead of the older keyhole.
Handles are Rosewood.....and no sign of any cracks, or breaks....
Maybe after awhile I can get this cleaned up? Looks to be a Type 16? pre-1941?
Will post more as I get this cleaned up...is there a rush? No.
