Thread: Shield of Honor

    Shield of Honor

Shield of Honor is a decorative wall hanging turned from a piece of cherry burl. I used antique gold gilder’s paste in the center of the turning. It is 18” in diameter and is 2 “ thick at the center and ¾” thick at the rim. I chose the name because it reminded me of an old warrior’s shield that had seen lots of battles. C&C welcomed.

Anybody would be proud to hang that piece on their wall. Well done indeed!

    Thanks everyone for your comments.

Lamar, I hope you are right, I'm taking this to an art fair this weekend. We will see what happens.
