Horizontal Paneling For The Kitchen Walls

At least half the time it's taken to get this far on the kitchen has been trying to decide what we're going to do. After the tile backsplash went in we decided to go with white reclaimed T&G paneling to finish the walls.

The doors and drawer fronts are next but we're still undecided on what to trim the countertop with. We want to keep it beachy and weathered... Maple? Eucalyptus?

Very nice. I'd feel right at home As for beach and weathered, I will suggest BUTTERNUT. Red Alder could be very nice too, in complement to the existing but would not have the same "weathered" effect of Butternut.
