    corel help please

I'm trying to make a diamond shape. Didn't think this would be a problem. No diamond shape in basic shapes, So I made 2 triangles put them together. But no matter how I try I can't get rid of the center line.So how do I get rid of that line. Eraser doesm't work. The virtual delete doesn't work.what am I doin wrong here.

Draw lines over the outside of the diamond shape and then erase the two triangles.

This is why I love QCAD. I only use Corel to trace logos, then save as dxf to open in QCAD. Not saying that Corel is bad, just that I don't have time to take a class on how to use it, because it is NOT intuitive like simple 2D drawing programs like QCAD.

A Diamond is an easy one. Go to Special Characters - ZafDingbats and find a diamond shape and drag it onto your page...

It is also pretty simple to draw a straight line, then in the input section tell it what length and height you want it to be... say 3" long in X with a 1.5" rise in Y, draw the next line the same way and so on... pretty easy.

Another useful way, if you don't want to weld the 2 triangles together, is to select them, and on the right end of the welding options, is "create a new object that surrounds all others"
