Ridgid r4512 fence higher than table on the front of the saw

The "T" part of my fence (don't know the right term!) is higher than the table by maybe 1/16" in front. I've seen a number of threads about fence alignment but I can't seem to find a fix for this. I'm worried that this means grooves and dados won't be a consistent depth and it might be factoring into other alignment issues. Any suggestions?

Might try to loosen the rail and move it down. The holes in my 3650 were big enough to affect a small movement, and I did it a few times when moving. You will still need a few thousandths under the fence. I used a sheet of paper folded in quarter as a spacer, never had issues with it. If the holes are not loose enough, you may have to open them up a little bit.
