    Saw Blade Storage

Had a bit of time last night and decided it was a good time to "kill two birds with one stone" ... get rid of some plywood scraps, and build a convenient blade storage for my saw. It is not the most elegant solution, but I suspect it will work just fine. Hardest part was drilling and tapping the steel to attach. Best part is that I have no room to buy any more blades unless I get rid of some first. Next will be mounting the saw adjustment tools on the end.

I just stack mine on a shelf with pieces of cardboard between.

In my basement shop, I boxed one of the lally columns...nails hold my blades..rip, crosscut, and three GP. two of which are thin..more than that is not needed. Table saw only takes one at time.

Bill, I think it's great. Thanks for sharing. I have a slider also and I like your out feed table. Nice shop.

  5. Nice design. If the edges are sharp you could put the places into old record sleeves.
