Sealing (finishing) inside a chest of drawers

I just completed a chest of drawers and plan to finish the outside and drawer fronts with Armor Seal wiping varnish. What would you recommend for finishing the inside of the cabinet? The drawers will be finished with shellac to avoid odor.
    Thanks, Mike

It seems to me that you have already answered your question: finish the inside of the cabinet with shellac, for the reason you gave for using it on the drawers. Shellac is a great barrier against water vapor and will certainly balance the varnish on the outside as regards equilibrium moisture content. This is my standard procedure for the insides of varnished furniture.

I usually don't use anything on the inside of a chest of drawers, but when I do I spray a coat of SealCoat shellac for the reasons Doug cited.
