    Stain and Epifanes

Hey guys quick question I have a piece pine I am using as a foot rest on a bar in a garage, I was planning to stain it and then apply epifanes over the stain directly. Any issues with applying Epifanes Clear Gloss directly over a stain. Normally I use a wood conditioner on pine before the stain, but not sure if I should if I plan to use the Epifanes in the final step. Any input.

Assuming you are talking about common WB or OB stains, if the stain is dry you should be fine putting Epifanes directly over it. Whether or not to use wood conditioner prior to the stain is an independent decision, Epifanes has no bearing on it.
