    What to do when you have too many dead trees...

    image.jpgSince the drought of 2011 in texas trees have been steadily dying and I have more than I can use, so I made these.

    post oak and ERC. Can't make the post oak very big because of the weight.

    Sorry about the oak bench. I can't get it right.

    Like them both. The bulk of the big one and the relatively small steel supports makes a pleasing plausible "levitation". And the sap wood is turned to ornament.

    I like them both but the Red Cedar is a real eye catcher.

    Must be hard to use the bench like that, upside down and all. (I know, lame attempt for a chuckle.) I think for the right venue those would be awesome, like in my back yard for instance. Really very cool and that's no joke.
