Scrambling to get things done today meant we were in our food wholesale warehouse at 1100 hrs. Not the greatest place to observe a minutes silence one would have thought. Forklifts, blaring pop radio, people busy everywhere - until 1100 when the radio station cut the music and everyone and everything stopped for a minutes silence. Myself and some other old codger looked at each other in amazement. The radio played the Last Post, and recited those famous words '...at the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.' LEST WE FORGET
