    Yeti Engraving w/Rotary

    Hello
    have purchase a new fiber machine but have some problems to engrave a yeti cup
    i really aprecciate your advice
    i want a dark engraving but looks so brown


    Machine Specs
    20w Fiber Machine Raycus
    Lens F-theta F=290mm 1064nm
    Rotary Chuck style
    Ezcad 2.12

    Yeti 88mm Diameter

    That is more or less the color you get on stainless. You can experment and get it darker, but you do not need a rotary or expensive Yeti to do that.

    The problem with a large image on a round surface is you'll go from perfect focus for annealing(black smooth ) to cutting. That's why you have that brownish mark. Rotary is better for a large image but slower than a CO2 & cermark.
