Grizzly G0555 Bandsaw Table Adjustment Improvement

All - I question for the combined wisdom of the group. I have had a G0555 bandsaw for many years. For the money (and with a few upgrades like the Carter products), it has been a good value. However, my biggest issue over the years are the manual adjustment knobs for the table. Even if I tighten them as hard as possible, the table can slip out of adjustment, especially if I have a heavy piece on the it. Although I hardly ever move the table out of perpendicular to the blade, I would rather not permanently fix it into place in case adjustment is needed.

Other than buying a new bandsaw that has rack and pinon table adjustment installed as a feature, does anyone have an idea as to how to improve what I have?

    Thanks for your help.
