correct knife size for a Delta 37-315 jointer

I have two different sets of knives that are two sizes and am wondering what size is the right one. 3/4'' x 1/8'' x 8'' and the other one is thicker and 5/8 wide x 8''. The first size seems to fit in the cutter head better to me,there is slightly more room to get to the gib screws. What say you guys that own this machine ? Thanks,Mike.

I don't have this particular jointer, but have you already fit check each size by manually rotating the cutter head to confirm there is no interference with either blade, i.e. jib clamp screws or blade hitting something during rotation?

Al they both fit and work in the machine, one is just easier to install. I remember reading somewhere that Delta sold these jointers with the wrong size knife at some point. I will measure my knives with a caliper today,I thought of this after I came home and posted last night. Bill thanks for the size.
