    No Rust For The Wicked

Stopped at my favorite antique mall on the way home from Portland today. None of the planes, chisels or other tools were of much interest.

    Still ended up buying something:

This book includes Windsor stools and other specialized forms.

The same author wrote a book on Windsor chairs before writing this book.

That's an excellent book. I'm not at home but if I remember correctly John kasay had one book on Shaker furniture with drawings and another on Windsor furniture with drawings.

I made a Windsor chair at Homestead Heritage in Waco Texas many years ago. Paul Sellers was the woodworker there at that time.
It sits in my living room. Hurricane Harvey came through and I had 33" of water in the house. It is sound, but I will go to Woodcraft
today to buy some black milk paint to re-paint it.

I made two rocking chairs and the Windsor chair there.

Playing with twists on a phrase is one of my little enjoyments.

Enough little enjoyments can add up to a great big one after a while.
