Tormek long knive jig

Anybody use one to sharpen knives? If so, doesn't the grinding wheel get in the way of the leather strop?

don't recall there being a problem. it has been a year or so. i sharpen my kitchen knives so often i ended up buying a dedicated sharpener that i keep in the kitchen.

Yes it does. I finish on a fine stone.

yikes, sorry, i didn't recall any problem.

Not a big problem. The longest knife that I can sharpen without the stone getting in the way is my ancient chef knive. I have a couple of really long knives that would bump the stone.
