    Fein deal

Thanks for the heads up Mark. I know nothing about Fein, but it seems like a steal. I picked up one. I wonder if they are discontinuing this drill. I see it also in a package with the multimaster for what seems like a good price.

Well I certainly need a new drill from Santa......!!! My Sears 18v has been out of commission after only a year or two of service -- NEver Again!

I'm debating between this and the Dewalt 14.4.........

    Looks like a good deal.......

My Fein Vac sure has been nice for several years!!

    Thanks Mark!

Does anybody own one of these? Is it made in Europe or Asia?

I've got my eye on a Festool TDK 15.6 or C12 this Christmas, but this deal is remarkable.

Peter, all the Fein Cordless drills are made in China I looked at them when they were at the local show and for the retail price I would pay their price for a Chinese made tool... Just my issue... but if you can pick it up for 85 bucks... Heck not even a B&D sells for that price
I can pay retail anywhere, so how's your service?

As for the Fein Handymaster you are correct but I'm not sure if the Fein AccuTecs are also made in China.
Anyway, no matter where they are made I basically tend to expect good quality from Fein.

I recieved it yesterday and I am quite impressed....lots of power...I broke the head off a case hardened screw eaisely....lots of control...a lot of fine clutch settings...the variable speed is excellent...charges very fast...the balance of the tool is wonderful....the battery attachment is unusuall and very nice too... I don't care where it is made....its a winner and on Christian's link it appears that the 14 volt model , which is the one on sale, won an award!
