    My daughter's night stand

I finished construction a night stand for my daughter's bedroom a few weeks ago, but never took a picture becuase of Thanksgiving and the ensuing aftermath. It is maple, and I found some boards with nice figure for the the top and drawer front. All of the wood in this table was given to me, some from a friend of my dad, and some from a friend of mine, so this table cost a total of $3, an evening planing some wood for my friend, and two trips to Chicago to make! The finish will be Target Coatings USL, possibly with a couple drops of amber dye to try to make the grain pop.

Very nice. Look forward to seeing it once you have the finish on it.
