Bosch 1617 EVS- replaces router lift?

The advertisements claim "above the table" height adjustment. Does this mean the EVS can be installed in a router table with no need of a lift?

That would save some serious money. Trying to budget money and squeeze a router into my right saw table extension.

    adjustments

I think there are a few routers that do that. However they usuallly don't allow "above the table" bit changes, without any aftermarket extensions. The new freud seems to advertise itself as an exception.

I believe that this would fully function as a "lift". I know the milwaukee has some similar features for adjusting.
    Sharpening skills, the plane truth.
