    SmartGuide User's Group

Not sure if this is a violation of TOS in any form, but I thought it was an appropriate time to start a Eurekazone User's Group... so here it is(deleted). All are welcome, owner's of SmartGuides, prospective owners or just interested woodworkers!

My apologies Ken... I didn't realize this was an issue here. For those SmartGuide owner's interested in joining, search Yahoo Groups for "Eurekazone" or PM me for a link if you'd like.

Thanks, Paul. I signed up, not as fast as some. The Yahoo interface is 'interesting'.

    A question for Dino...
Are you able to join the SMOG (SmartGuide Owners Group)? I'd like to ask you some questions but the atmosphere here gets somewhat heated when it comes to S vs. F.

    Hi John.
I think, I may start my own Yahoo Group.
The "No Fog and No Smog group ".
The water at the Creek is crystal clear
and the questions can be better answered by anyone here.
The same way, Alan learn of another way by jay.
And I learn how to answer without "Inferring".
Happy and peaceful Holidays to all.

    Thanks John.

    Dino,

Let me publicly offer you a Manufacturers Forum one more time...it seems that many of our Members are interested, how can you say no

Yes Keith! I think this is the best solution

Dino, you NEED a manufacturer's forum

Ditto to Keith's offer...and the interface "here" is so much more friendlier than Yahoo's debacle. And one can even edit a post here after thinking about what one said...

Dino, absoluterly, positiverly consider Keith's offer! I think I would opt out of joining the Group at Yahoo, not because of content or members but, due to their gastly interface! IMHO, it's downright horrible! Just my $.02....

And I was thinking that only I was having trouble with Yahoo! Boy, is that a bad interface! And I guess there is a way to generate Threads/Posts (i.e., Groups) but that seems like a lot of work.

So I agree with Jeff, Jim, John and others to go for a Manufacturers forum but only if the forum can be run without all the conflicts that has been the trademark of the "E vs F" threads.

And Paul must be given a round of applauses for getting the ball rolling.

    Regards, Joe

Joe... at the bottom of the message page, click on "threads" and it displays in thread view. Thank you for the accolades, very nice of you. But I think that the two (forum and user's group) serve two rather different purposes. I do hope that SmartGuide user's and those interested in the topic will join the Yahoo group. We're off to a real good start!
