    Versa Chisels or equivalent....

Just thinking out loud here, is one of these hybrid chisel/gouges/ or the spindlemaster etc. good to learn or use or just not a good idea? Seems like a good compromise and fairly easy to sharpen?

Corey I am going to order the Sorby Spindlemaster and the Hollowing Tool. I may just go ahead and order the Hollowmaster while I am at it and be done with it. I watched a demo at Rockler and he let me try it. I think it is a pretty slick tool. Do a lot of things with it.

Bernie I watched the video on that link you sent me, looks like a short learning curve and simple to sharpen. Versa chisel is identical in appearance.
    Thanks,
